When I started the brand of Jungle Rider my philosophy was to create a brand from a rider to other riders. I had zero money to be invested into it so I needed to be smart how to get started and to get a good team representing the brand. Around those times I had already given up competing as I had absolutely no interest to compete anymore and my passion was on creating new tricks only, as a matter of a fact - that was my only motivation to ride. Then I started to get a team of riders together to represent Jungle Rider and to be honest, I felt little bad that all I could offer to these kick ass riders was free parts. I did not choose my team based on the results / motivation to do good at competitions. It was more based on personalities and about their desire of being progressive riders. Knowing how hard it is to get out there and get recognition from videos made me feel like giving more to my team. I just did not know what to do about it until a very clear answer came out of blue to me – ”I just give the whole company to my team and I step out of the game and we´ll see what happens”. Seems like I did a right thing because now the company is in the hands of riders who have a lot of passion for flatland, who has a lot of passion to push the company back on the feet and most importantly – still loves to go out there everyday and ride their bikes, just like me but I just had to draw a line between flatland and work in order to keep riding... I´m still just a rider, nothing more nothing less and shall this be my legacy to fellow riders out there.
